OnePlus Nord Lite SnapDragon 690

OnePlus made a comeback into the mid-range smartphone segment this month with the launch of OnePlus Nord which is priced starting Rs 24,999. Now, OnePlus is reportedly working on another ‘affordable’ smartphone which will be the OnePlus Nord Lite.
Developers dig into Oxygen OS 10.5 for the Nord and discovered references to “SM6350” products in the settings APK file. More specifically, SM6350 is the part number for the recently launched Snapdragon 690 5G processor
OnePlus is working on a new Nord series device with a Snapdragon 690 chipset. This OnePlus device may launch in the US this year.
The chipset is the first 5G SoC in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 series, while also packing an octa-core design and a graphical boost of up to 60% over the Snapdragon 675 and the smartphone is likely to come with 6 GB RAM.
You can expect the display to retain its 90Hz refresh rate as OnePlus isn’t going back to 60Hz displays. This is unlike the existing OnePlus Nord that has the Snapdragon 765G SoC.
