Apple Watch 9

Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 9 at its Wonderlust event. One of the most significant alterations includes the introduction of a new S9 SiP (System in Package). The CPU boasts an impressive 5.6 billion transistors, accompanied by a GPU that exhibits a 30 percent increase in speed, and a four-core neural engine. The watch also has a second-generation ultra-wideband chip to help with precision finding with your iPhone. It’s powered by the heart sensor and the gyroscope, along with a machine-learning algorithm to track changes in blood flow. Apple introduced new fine woven bands for its watch that are made without any leather.

The Apple Watch 9 also introduces a “double-tap” feature, allowing users to tap their index finger and thumb together to perform actions like answering a phone call. This functionality is reminiscent of the tapping feature showcased by Apple with the Apple Vision Pro, and Apple already provides a similar feature through AssistiveTouch. The double-tap feature is set to become available through a software update in October.

The Apple Watch Series 9 will be offered in aluminum finishes such as pink, starlight, silver, midnight, and product red. Additionally, stainless steel versions will be available in gold, silver, and graphite.

Apple added the USB-C to the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro. The Pro models would get up to 10 Gbits per second. However, you won’t get that speed out of the box because Apple is shipping a USB 2.0 cable with a type-C port. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have No Thunderbolt support this time out.

The A17 Pro chip will come equipped with notable enhancements:

Notably, this new GPU now supports ray tracing, which is a significant advancement for gaming and graphics-intensive tasks. Apple has described this as the “biggest redesign in the history of Apple GPUs,” emphasizing the significance of this enhancement.
