Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch 2021 lineup has been unveiled, which will support Google’s Wear OS 3 software update. The new watches come in 44mm and 42mm sizes.
Fossil adds a SpO2 sensor to monitor blood oxygen levels and will be the first smartwatch powered by Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon Wear 4100+ platform.
The Gen 6 comes in seven different looks for both men and women, There’s the option of 44mm and 42mm case sizes with both featuring stainless steel cases that measure in at 11.5mm thick. There are interchangeable bands with the larger Gen 6 watch using a 22mm band varied silicone, leather, and stainless steel band options also listed on the US site, priced at $29 to $49 (roughly Rs.2,000 to Rs. 3,500).
Fossil Gen 6 Specs:
Both sized watches have 1.28″ AMOLED touchscreen displays with 416 x 416-pixel resolution and always-on functionality. There are three buttons on the side for controls with the middle and like previous Fossil smartwatches, feature a rotating crown. The watches also bring onboard speakers and microphones allowing calls on the watch itself.
It carries a 3ATM water-resistant rating making it safe for swimming too.
Fossil Gen 6 comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100+ platform, there’s 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM.
Fossil’s own smart battery modes you can make sure you get that 24 hours of battery life. watches can be charged, giving you back up to 80% off a 30 minute charge.
The new Fossil Gen 6 range is priced at $299 (roughly Rs. 21,900). The stainless steel model is up for grabs for $319 (roughly Rs. 23,300)
It is already up for pre-orders in the US with shipping expected to be sometime close to September 27.
