DJI Avata FPV Drone with New Goggles 2 and controller

DJI has launched a new cinematic drone called Avata the Avata a palm-sized FPV (first-person view) drone that’s designed for both beginners and pro fliers who want to shoot some impressive aerial fly-throughs both indoors and out.

You can buy it with the current DJI FPV Goggles V2 or if you’re feeling flush, the new DJI Goggles 2, which brings micro-OLED screens and compatibility with DJI’s new O3+ transmission. DJI RockSteady and DJI HorizonSteady stabilization technologies to keep footage sharp “even during high-pressure aerial maneuvers” – though electronic image stabilization can be disabled if preferred and can shoot in 4K at 60fps, as well as “2.7K” at 50/60/100/120fps. Its battery can last for up to 18 minutes before needing a recharge. The Avata is equipped with a stabilized camera that has a 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor with 48 million effective pixels, an f/2.8 aperture, and an ultra-wide-angle lens. users can shoot quite a bit of footage before worrying about space since it has 20GB of internal storage.

DJI Avata Prices

The DJI Avata is available today from DJI’s online store for $629 by itself, or $1,388 bundled with the DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI Motion Controller. You can also pick it up alongside the DJI FPV Goggles V2 and DJI Motion Controller for $1,168. A kit containing two batteries and a battery charging hub can be yours for $279.
